Rebecca Richards, Psychologist
Dr. Rebecca L. Richards is a Psychologist in New Hampshire who has been practicing since 2015. Dr. Richards specializes in adult and geriatric neuropsychology. She completed undergraduate training in psychology at Plymouth State University and went on to earn graduate degrees, a Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), in clinical psychology from Antioch University New England. She completed specialty training in neuropsychology during her clinical internship at Dartmouth Medical School, followed by a two-year postdoctoral residency at the VA Maine Healthcare System. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults with known or suspected learning disabilities, developmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, ASD) and medical conditions that cause changes in cognitive abilities, emotions, and daily functioning (e.g., neurological disorders, stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia). Dr. Richards uses an integrative approach to assessment, combining important case history from patients, their families, and medical providers with results from cognitive and psychological testing to help clarify diagnoses and create a treatment plan that supports patients’ cognitive health, emotional wellbeing, and personal goals. Outside of work, Dr. Richards enjoys hiking, swimming, snowboarding, ice climbing, and spending time with family.
