Jacqueline Kikuchi, Psychologist
Jacqueline Kikuchi is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing for over 30 years. She graduated from URI with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She worked for the RI Rape Crisis Center (now DayOne) for 16-years and the VA for nearly 20-years. Jacqui approach to therapy is to work with the client by providing education, support, guidance, consistency and understanding. She specializes in treating: • PTSD and trauma including child abuse, domestic violence, medical trauma, sexual abuse, dating violence, emotional abuse, natural disasters and war trauma. • Relationship issues, • Grief, • Anxiety She is trained in most therapeutic techniques including EMDR, Imago, IFS, hypnosis, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and CBT. In her spare time, Jacqui enjoys, gardening, crafts, cooking; volunteering with Dr Jane Goodall, Roger Williams Park Zoo, and other environmental organizations, playing with her cat and backyard chickens, and being with her family and friends.
