Dr. Russell Hunter, Psychologist

Russell A. Hunter, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist at LifeStance Health with over 20 years of experience serving clients across Virginia. He specializes in providing psychological and neuropsychological testing to assess for a variety of conditions to include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavioral disorders, anxiety disorders (OCD, PTSD), mood disorders, academic achievement, and neurocognitive conditions for individuals ages 6 to geriatric. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing guitar, golf, and spending time with his family. Dr. Hunter received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine and his Doctor of Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles California. He has experience working within college counseling centers, private psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, and psychiatric group practices.
