Kirby Oxenreider, Therapist
Kirby Oxenreider is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona who has been practicing since 1999. He has a Master of Science in Education, Community Counseling from Duquesne University, a Master of Divinity from Bethany Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts from Lebanon Valley College. As C.S. Lewis said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start from where you are and change the ending”. Kirby understands the pain, loneliness, and frustration that is often part of life. He is skilled at working with women, men, teenagers, couples and families who are ready to move forward to a hopeful future filled with purpose and meaning. Kirby has extensive training working with persons who have been traumatized. He works with clients who struggle with anxiety, and depression, as well as those who have lost direction and meaning in life. Kirby works with couples who are grappling with the difficulties of being in relationship. He has extensive experience working with adolescents as they move through the tumultuous and often confusing teenage years. Kirby is capable of helping families work through issues that are preventing them from functioning effectively as a family unit. Kirby also has a background in working with clients who have been adopted, as well as families that are adopting. Outside of work, Kirby enjoys music and movies, and spends a lot of time outdoors experiencing the variety of life in Arizona. He is a fan of professional football and enjoys watching a variety of sports. In addition to enjoying a wide variety of local foods, Kirby is a lover of a great cup of coffee. He also is passionate about railroads and enjoys building his own model railroad.
