Melissa Hawes is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona who has been practicing since 2016. She has a Masters of Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Melissa is skilled in narcissistic abuse and able to help this population heal from narcissistic trauma, childhood trauma and cumulative trauma. She works well with clients who have experience varied forms of trauma, engaging them in EMDR therapy. Melissa is knowledgeable and has practiced varied forms of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and incorporated each modality as needed for individualized client needs, understanding each client’s needs are specific to their circumstance. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys watching comedies and other shows, engaging in exercise and other self-care practices, being outdoors, reading the Bible/bible study, time with friends and family, and going to car shows and community festivals.
