Anna Shuqom, Therapist
Anna Shuqom, Licensed Professional Counselor, helps adolescents, teens, and adults across Arizona navigate emotional challenges, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and couples therapy in a warm, collaborative environment where clients can feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Anna works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions, while also helping clients address a wide range of mental health concerns through personalized, evidence-based care. Anna is particularly passionate about supporting women’s mental health and wellness, including postpartum mental health concerns, reproductive challenges, and major life transitions. She also has extensive experience working with ADHD and neurodivergent individuals, helping clients better understand their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build practical strategies for success. Her goal is to empower clients to move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness, and emotional balance. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-based approaches, Anna tailors treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. She believes healing is not a one-size-fits-all process and works collaboratively with clients to develop coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and foster lasting growth. Anna has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and those involved in adoption and foster care, among other populations. She also offers support for additional mental health concerns beyond her primary areas of focus. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2019, Anna has remained committed to providing compassionate, holistic, and solution-focused care. Her approach integrates clinical expertise with genuine empathy, helping clients identify strengths, navigate challenges, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Outside of her work, Anna enjoys yoga, hiking, baking, reading, exploring spirituality, spending time outdoors, and making meaningful memories with friends and family. These interests help nurture the balance, mindfulness, and connection she encourages in her therapeutic work.
