Monica Oropeza is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 2020. Monica strongly believes in people. She believes that all individuals have their own unique strengths and abilities, and these can be capitalized on, particularly during times of need. All people are capable of changing and improving their lives, and at times, simply need help with finding the right direction. Her clients are the ones in the driver’s seat, and she is there to lend a helping hand. Monica’s focus is on the clients and listening to what they wish to gain from therapy. When confronted with difficult circumstances, it can often be difficult to process and identify effective solutions. By truly listening to her clients, Monica aims to guide them toward the identification of these solutions, while also developing new ways of coping that will contribute to long-term stability. She believes in respecting a client’s wishes, and offers support and encouragement along the road to success. Outside of work, Monica enjoys baking, music, watching movies, and walking/hiking.
