Abigail Forni, Therapist
Abigail Forni helps children, teens, adults, and seniors across California navigate anxiety, depression, and life’s most challenging transitions with warmth, insight, and practical tools for lasting change. As a Marriage & Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy tailored to each stage of life, supporting clients from early childhood through later adulthood. Her work is grounded in evidence-based mental health treatment while remaining attentive to the unique emotional, relational, and spiritual needs of the individuals and families she serves throughout CA. Abigail has particular expertise in treating anxiety disorders, depression, and childhood behavior issues. She works closely with children and adolescents experiencing school avoidance, emotional dysregulation, or social stress, helping families build healthier communication patterns and stronger coping skills. She also supports adults facing midlife and later life transitions, grief, postpartum depression and anxiety, and challenges related to medical conditions or health psychology. Clients seeking Christian counseling or faith-based counseling will find a respectful, clinically sound integration of psychological principles and spiritual values when desired. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Therapy to address concerns such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, reproductive challenges, and women’s issues. Abigail emphasizes skill-building, emotional awareness, and values-driven action so clients can move forward with clarity and resilience. She offers additional therapeutic modalities to meet diverse clinical needs. Abigail earned her degrees from California State University, Fullerton and the University of California, Los Angeles, and has been practicing since 2021. Outside the therapy room, she enjoys watercolor painting, game nights, jigsaw puzzles, exploring new cities, reading about psychology and nutrition, and spending meaningful time with family and friends—often laughing at her own jokes.
