Kyle Frederick Hausheer, Therapist
Kyle Hausheer, LMFT, helps individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges by creating a safe, collaborative environment where healing and growth can take root. Serving adolescents, teens, and adults across California, Kyle offers compassionate mental health care designed to empower clients and help them build lasting change. His therapeutic style centers on helping people uncover new perspectives, identify small but impactful daily choices, and find stability through a combination of insight and practical tools.
Kyle is particularly passionate about working with athletes, neurodivergent individuals, and those experiencing substance use challenges. He understands the unique psychological and emotional demands that come with competitive performance, sensory processing differences, or the journey through recovery. Kyle tailors treatment to meet the specific needs of each person, providing tools that support focus, resilience, and sustainable wellness. His goal is to help clients strengthen their identity, improve their self-awareness, and build healthier relationships—both with others and within themselves.
In his broader practice, Kyle also supports individuals dealing with anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD/trauma, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). He also offers Couples Counseling, Family Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among other interventions. Kyle is experienced in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, those in the adoption or foster care system, and military/veteran populations. Additional specialties and services are available based on each client’s unique background and needs.
Outside of his clinical work, Kyle enjoys surfing, beach volleyball, hiking, camping, and reading—activities that reflect his belief in the importance of balance and connection. He brings that same energy and presence into his therapeutic relationships.
