Miranda Gould, Therapist
Miranda Gould, LSW, is a dedicated therapist with LifeStance Health, offering compassionate support and expert treatment to individuals across Colorado. With a client-centered approach, she guides individuals on their unique journeys toward healing and self-acceptance. Miranda is passionate about helping people of all ages, including adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors, navigate the complexities of life with a blend of empathy and directness. Her practice provides a safe, inclusive space where clients can embrace their authentic selves and work toward meaningful, sustainable change. Miranda has extensive experience treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD/trauma.
She uses a range of therapeutic approaches to help clients find relief and build resilience. She often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure Therapy and Somatic Therapy to help clients develop healthier coping mechanisms and regain control over their thoughts and emotions. Her work with trauma survivors incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), providing a framework for individuals to process their experiences and find a path forward with a sense of agency and hope. In addition to her individual therapy work, Miranda offers support to those facing a range of other life challenges, including couples’ issues, sleep disorders, and grief.
She also has experience working with specific populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military veterans, and those impacted by head injuries. Miranda’s therapeutic toolkit is further enhanced by her skills in family therapy, which allows her to support families navigating difficult times together, fostering communication and mutual understanding. Outside the therapy room, Miranda finds joy and peace in the great outdoors. She is an avid trail runner and enjoys snowboarding in the Colorado mountains, camping, and dancing with friends. On quieter days, she loves to unwind with abstract painting, a good book, and the company of her beloved cat.
