Born and raised in rural Nebraska, Brittany is no stranger to the idea of mental health being taboo… Growing up she did a bit of everything from sports and gardening, to welding and construction. She even helped teach art at a local grade school and build a house! After graduating high school, Brittany moved to Fort Collins where she started college. A few months later, still not feeling like she knew what she wanted to do, she dropped out. Years later, after a lot of searching and growing, Brittany went to Front Range Community College where she earned an associate degree. Right after, it was back to Colorado State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2020 and her Master of Addiction Counseling in Psychology (MACP) degree in 2022. During that time, Brittany worked at an inpatient mental health facility, along with working in restaurants for as long as she can remember.

Brittany welcomes clients of most any age with all kinds of needs and concerns. Her specialty areas include, but are not limited to, alcohol and substance use issues, depression, anxiety, relational issues, family issues, struggles with school and/or work, behavioral issues, and struggles with aggression. Her approach to counseling is different for each client and can vary from session to session depending on needs. As a clinician, Brittany strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel able to be open and express themselves. In this, Brittany has put great effort into creating an office space that is calming and down to earth. She knows historically therapy has had a sort of impersonal feel to it… Brittany is trying to help fix that! She strongly views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership that strives to help you, the client, gain the knowledge and strength needed to grow and thrive.

No issue is too big or too small to talk to someone about. Therapy is there for the struggles you are experiencing right now, have experienced in the past and ones that could come up in the future. As both a clinician and someone who has actively gone to counseling, Brittany has found great value in having the opportunity to have someone listen and give feedback about experiences. We don’t know what we don’t know, but we can put in the effort to try to learn and grow! Outside of work, Brittany enjoys reading, gardening and craft/projects.
