You’ll leave each session feeling heard. Joni uses active listening to help her clients overcome the issues for which they seek help. She guides them in finding inner strength and gaining tools and skills that can be utilized though their life’s journey. She’s eclectic in the modalities she subscribes to and tailors’ therapy for each client using a combination of modalities like, CBT, DBT, family systems and ACT. With a master’s degree in counseling and a master’s degree in school counseling, and master’s level training for neurofeedback, she’s worked in nonprofit organizations, private practice, and day treatment offering group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy.
