Beth Sikma, Therapist
Beth Sikma helps teens, adults, and seniors build emotional resilience, improve relationships, and regain a sense of control through compassionate, evidence-based care at LifeStance Health for individuals across Delaware. She provides a supportive and collaborative space where clients can work through life’s challenges and develop practical skills to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. Her work centers on anxiety, ADHD, and grief, which are the areas she is most passionate about treating. Beth understands how chronic worry, attention difficulties, and the pain of loss can deeply affect daily functioning and relationships. She partners with clients to strengthen coping strategies, improve focus and emotional regulation, and find healthy ways to process and integrate grief so they can move forward with greater confidence and stability. In addition to these focus areas, Beth also supports individuals with a wide range of concerns including women’s issues, gender identity and LGBTQ+ care, trauma, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, substance use, and life transitions, along with additional mental health needs. She provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy, allowing treatment to be tailored to each person’s goals and circumstances. Beth works with members of the LGBTQ+ community, military and veteran populations, and first responders, offering inclusive and affirming care. Her clinical approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques, with additional therapeutic methods available to support more complex or specialized needs. Outside of therapy, Beth enjoys spending time with animals, creating art, thrifting, and exploring Bigfoot lore, interests that reflect her creativity, curiosity, and warmth, which she brings into her work with clients.
