Geneva Barnes is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health in Delaware who has been practicing since 2018. She graduated from the Wilmu Clinical Mental Health Program. As a licensed clinical professional mental health counselor with a range of knowledge and experience, it’s important to meet people “where they are,” emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. Geneva’s approach to counseling is cognitive behavioral targeted towards empowerment of the client, changing negative thinking patterns and identifying client strengths to bring positive life altering changes. Other modalities of treatment are utilized as necessary, tailored to client needs. Geneva works with individuals, families, couples, and veterans. Geneva engages easily with no judgements. Outside of work, Geneva enjoys reading, working out, walking, and playing with her dog.
