Chad Smith, Therapist
Chad Smith helps adolescents, adults, and seniors throughout Florida manage life’s most challenging emotional and relational concerns with compassion, clarity, and clinical skill. At LifeStance Health, he works collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families to address a wide range of mental health needs, creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful change. Whether someone is struggling with personal challenges, relationship conflicts, or life transitions, Chad offers a steady, experienced presence grounded in evidence-based care. Chad specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders, drawing on his extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and family systems work. He has deep experience in couples and family therapy and supports clients in navigating conflict, improving communication, and rebuilding trust. His therapeutic approach is practical, strengths-based, and attuned to the unique needs of each individual or relationship system. Chad also works with teens and adults managing ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance use challenges, helping them gain control over symptoms and build more fulfilling lives. He is especially passionate about supporting men who may feel pressure to suppress emotional struggles or manage them alone. Chad provides a space where men can explore mental health concerns without judgment—addressing stress, anger, relationships, identity, and more. He also has experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and welcomes clients of all backgrounds seeking respectful, inclusive care. Outside of the therapy room, Chad values time with his wife and two children, considering family life a central source of joy and grounding. He also enjoys fishing when the weather cooperates and relaxing with a good movie.
