Marko Tunjic, Therapist
Marko Tunjic helps teens, adults, and seniors across Florida build stability, heal from trauma, and strengthen relationships through individualized therapy at LifeStance Health. Serving clients throughout FL, he provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling for anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as support for life transitions and relationship concerns. Through individual and couples therapy, Marko works collaboratively with clients to clarify goals, reduce distressing symptoms, and develop practical tools for long-term emotional wellness. He has extensive experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, and grief. For couples, he integrates structured couples/marital counseling to improve communication and rebuild connection. His therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping clients process difficult experiences, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and move forward with greater resilience. He offers additional specialties and interventions tailored to each client’s needs. Marko is especially passionate about working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and require consistent outpatient therapy to maintain stability and prevent relapse. He provides structured, goal-oriented support during this critical transition period, emphasizing safety planning, coping skills development, and coordinated care. He also assists clients with disability paperwork related to mental health conditions, offering thorough documentation and guidance to reduce stress during complex administrative processes. He proudly serves diverse populations, including first responders, military members and veterans. Marko also provides therapy in Serbo-Croatian, Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian, allowing him to support clients seeking care in their preferred language. Since beginning his clinical practice in 2018, Marko has remained committed to delivering thoughtful, client-centered care. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys exercise, pickleball, traveling, reading, exploring spirituality, and spending meaningful time with family. Marko Tunjic provides comprehensive mental health counseling and couples therapy services throughout Florida at LifeStance Health.
