Michael Roisman, Therapist
Michael Roisman helps teens, adults, and seniors across Florida navigate emotional challenges with clarity, resilience, and purpose through individualized therapy at LifeStance Health. Serving clients throughout FL, he provides thoughtful, evidence-based mental health counseling for anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. His approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and practical skill-building, empowering clients to better understand patterns that may be holding them back and to move toward meaningful change. Michael has extensive experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, and PTSD/trauma, supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. He works with teens (15–17), young adults, midlife adults, and older adults facing life transitions, stress, and mood instability. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and faith-based treatment when desired, he helps clients strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and restore a sense of balance. He offers additional support for concerns such as ADHD, bipolar disorder, substance use issues, sleep disorders, and other mental health conditions. Michael is committed to serving diverse populations, including first responders, military members and veterans, and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. He understands the unique pressures faced by these groups and provides a supportive therapeutic environment that honors each client’s lived experience while promoting accountability and growth. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing since 2003, Michael brings decades of clinical insight to his work. Outside the therapy room, he has a deep appreciation for the arts—whether through music, film, culinary experiences, or time spent in nature. Photography is a particular creative passion, and he enjoys traveling to learn about different cultures, practices, and customs. Michael Roisman proudly provides individual therapy services across Florida through LifeStance Health.
