Maggie Flynn, Therapist
Maggie Flynn helps children, adolescents, and adults across Florida navigate emotional challenges with compassion, creativity, and practical support. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual and family therapy tailored to each stage of life, supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, and trauma while offering guidance through a wide range of additional mental health concerns. Maggie works with children and adolescents as well as adults and seniors, creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore, grow, and heal. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. Maggie focuses on helping clients build emotional regulation skills, improve communication within families, and develop healthier coping strategies. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating life transitions and behavioral challenges, and she offers additional support for a variety of mental health needs. Maggie is especially passionate about working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands the vulnerability and complexity of this transition and provides structured, compassionate care to help clients stabilize, regain confidence, and successfully reintegrate into daily life. Her approach emphasizes continuity of care, relapse prevention, and building a strong foundation for long-term wellness. She also has experience supporting individuals connected to adoption or foster care, first responders, and military veterans, offering a respectful and trauma-informed approach that honors each client’s unique background and experiences. Outside of her clinical work, Maggie enjoys reading—especially psychological thrillers—and spending time with her animals, including her raccoons Jellybean, Chai, and Willow, and her Sphynx cat, Ophelia. She also loves exploring thrift stores and antique shops, traveling to experience different cultures, and nurturing her natural curiosity and creativity. Maggie Flynn serves clients throughout Florida and is committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care for individuals and families.
