Patrick Hill is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida who has been practicing since 2023. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and his graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida as well. Making a choice to see a counselor can introduce feelings of uncertainty and anxiety. Therefore, Patrick meets the client where they are and takes the journey with them. He wants the client to know they are in control, and he is here to offer the support and safe space needed to navigate difficulties. Patrick takes a holistic approach with evidence-based techniques with the client, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Integrative Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Clients have the ability to live a more fulfilling life. However, sometimes the client may feel a little stuck and introducing them to a set of new tools can help foster that change they once may have perceived as impossible. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys working out at the gym, playing ice hockey, going on outdoor adventures, bike riding, and playing with his Doberman, Lyla.
