Kimberly Swanson, Therapist
Kimberly Swanson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2018. Kimberly has several years of experience working with families with anxiety, depression, PSTD, and other life stressors ranging from coping with a chronic illness to going through relationship issues. Her approach to counseling is to guide and help you determine the best approach for improving your well-being. Kimberly tends to use person-centered, solution-focused, along with cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches; however, she can modify her therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of each client. Kimberly utilizes blended holistic approaches that stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. Other modalities of specialty that she utilizes are psycho-educational interventions, hypnotherapy, interpersonal therapy, and art therapy. Seeking counseling and asking for help can be very difficult for some people so Kimberly likes to create a comfortable atmosphere free of judgmental views. Her approach is more spiritual with the blending of holistic counseling and transpersonal therapy. No one should feel bad about receiving counseling to improve one’s life. Let’s get started, Kimberly is one call away! Outside of work, Kimberly likes hiking, gardening, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
