Angela Meyer, Therapist
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of treatment success. You deserve a non-judgmental and safe space to explore the changes you want to make. Change is hard! I’m ready to help you, every step of the way. I truly value being trusted by you through this process.
I have experience with many different backgrounds and cultures, having worked in rehabilitation and at facilities such as developmental centers and correctional institutions. I have experience working with children and their families in their homes. My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Psychology, followed by training in Rehabilitation Counseling and Applied Behavior Analysis. I am both a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois.
I’m excited in this season to serve you as you navigate life transitions and address the many challenges faced in adulthood. I’m ready to work with you, whether you want to do work on your own or with your partner. I can’t wait to see your growth. I believe I can support you with making smaller, daily changes in your life or with tackling the bigger boulders in your way!
