Samantha Sadler, Therapist
Hi, my name is Samantha “Sam” Sadler. I’m a therapist in Northbrook, IL with a License in Social Work (LSW). I’m excited that you are considering scheduling an appointment for therapy, whether you have done therapy before or this is your first experience. I have been told by a client in the past that my presence in the office feels like they have “walked into a spa.” I would like to create a safe, calm, and “Zen-like” experience for you. It is hard to start this process, so I hope to make it as comfortable for you as I can!
I have experience working with a variety of age ranges – I feel prepared to support you whether you are in the early stages of your life facing anxiety or depression, working through challenging adult decisions, and/or need support working through relationship struggles with your partner and/or family. If you are a kid looking for an easy-going and playful therapist, I think I could be a great fit for you as well! We can break out the Play-doh or you are welcome to challenge me in a game of Connect 4! I feel strongly about the benefits of using mindfulness tools to help ease anxiety and discomfort. I want to help you practice focusing on the present moment instead of worrying about the unknowns of the future.
I value creating an inclusive and affirming environment where you can feel seen, respected, and empowered to work through life’s challenges. My work blends warmth and insight with clinical expertise, allowing me to meet you exactly where you are. Outside of my clinical work, I find balance and inspiration in nature, classical music, and literature. I enjoy walks in forest preserves and quiet moments with a good book. Let’s work together to add more joy and peace back into your life!
