Amanda Felgenhauer, Therapist
Amanda earned her Undergraduate in Psychology and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Governors State University. She is passionate about helping children and adolescents work through trauma, anxieties, and other behavioral challenges they may be experiencing. She believes that therapy should be a safe place that provides unconditional support. Amanda has experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of different settings(in patient, residential, in-home therapy, and therapeutic day schools). In therapy, Amanda utilizes different play therapy techniques including sand tray and art therapies. She also uses an integrative approach including CBT, DBT, and ACT. She works with each client to meet their individual needs. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her three beagles, yoga, Pilates, and traveling.
