Allen is a Master’s level therapist with a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Evansville. He is licensed as a Clinical Social worker in the state of Indiana and has over 40 years of clinical experience. He accepts clients of all ages – from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Allen is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional with specialized training in the neuropsychologically informed treatment of anxiety. He is also a Certified ADHD Treatment Professional and has worked extensively with children, adolescents and their families to help them overcome obstacles related to ADHD and learning disabilities, to reach their full potential. Allen works with parents to help them develop more effective communication and parenting styles.

Allen works with adults to address issues of depression, anxiety, interpersonal dynamics and adjustment to life changing physical events such as stroke, brain injury and dementia.

Specific therapeutic interests include: brain trauma recovery, psychological trauma and PTSD recovery, ADD/ADHD coaching and cognitive therapy for depression and anxiety.

The therapist I see there, while I am not foolish and don't see him as a friend, I do see him as a non-biased and nonjudgmental person who has treated me with the upmost respect. I may not like the company itself but the employees are courteous and genuinely care about the patients, everyone will have a different experience but it has really helped me work through some rough issues and with out mentioning names for privacy reasons I will say that I have never been more comfortable talking to someone especially when I walked in originally carrying the embarrassment and shame of getting mental health but the fact that they show they genuinely care about their patients means the world to me, I wouldn't recommend the company but I couldn't possibly recommend the therapists and medical staff any higher, it is obvious that the employees are people who genuinely care about other people and I would recommend them to anyone, they've helped me through a lot of trauma's and make me feel at ease and comfortable and help by explaining what is going on and give you a safe place to vent or get the proverbial chains off your heart. They truly care and it shows. 9/10 would recommend it would be 10/10 if I didn't perceive the corporate owners to only see dollar signs. But the employees themselves see you as a person and have a passion to help people get into a healthy part of life and mental state. I can not speak for everyone but in my experience it has been life changing and I could never thank my therapist more for being understanding and non-judgemental. I absolutely would recommend setting an appointment, and do it before your anxiety and depression get the best of you.

He is a real person not a fake professional persona. He listens to you and hears what you do and don't say. I was under his care a few years ago and requested him when I needed to return due to a health reason.
