Carrie Collins, Therapist

Carrie Collins, M.A., M.Ed. LPCC

Carrie Collins helps patients build steadier moods, stronger coping skills, and healthier relationships through compassionate, evidence-based therapy in Kentucky. She creates a calm, nonjudgmental space where clients can sort through what feels overwhelming, identify patterns that keep them stuck, and make practical changes that support lasting emotional well-being.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, Carrie provides individual therapy and couples therapy for adolescents and teens (ages 11–17), adults, and seniors. She commonly supports concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, and trauma/PTSD, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and couples/marital counseling to help clients reduce symptoms, strengthen communication, and feel more in control. She also has experience working with select populations including first responders, LGBTQ+ individuals, and military/veterans, and she offers additional support for a range of other mental health needs.

Carrie does not single out one “additional specialty” beyond her core areas of practice; instead, she is especially passionate about tailoring care to the person in front of her. Whether someone is navigating grief, postpartum depression/anxiety, relationship stress, identity questions, or depression, she collaborates closely with clients to clarify goals and choose strategies that fit their values, culture, and daily life.

Since beginning clinical practice in 2021, Carrie has focused on helping clients translate insight into action—building resilience, improving self-compassion, and practicing skills that work outside the therapy room. Outside of sessions, she enjoys scenic hikes, long bike rides, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
