Rachel Gustafson, Therapist
Rachel Gustafson provides compassionate and evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults in Massachusetts, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression. She creates a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. By using a collaborative approach, Rachel tailors treatment to each individual’s needs, ensuring they receive the personalized care necessary for meaningful growth and healing. Rachel is especially passionate about supporting individuals facing reproductive challenges, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and postpartum mental health concerns. She understands the emotional toll these experiences can take and offers a compassionate, validating environment where clients can process their emotions, manage stress, and navigate this deeply personal journey. Through mindfulness techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she helps clients develop tools to enhance emotional well-being during these complex life transitions. With expertise in trauma and PTSD, Rachel integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, and mindfulness practices to help clients heal from past experiences and regain a sense of control in their lives. She has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with developmental disabilities, first responders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her goal is to help clients foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in their ability to overcome challenges. Outside of her practice, Rachel enjoys running, reading, yoga, and spending time with her family and close friends. She believes in the importance of self-care and encourages clients to incorporate meaningful activities into their lives.
