Alexis Lane, Therapist
Alexis Lane is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports children and adolescents in Massachusetts through individual therapy. With a warm and approachable style, Alexis helps young clients and their families navigate life’s challenges by addressing emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. She offers a safe space for children and teens to express themselves freely and works closely with caregivers to foster positive change and lasting growth. Alexis is especially passionate about helping children and teens who have experienced trauma, are coping with school avoidance, or are navigating the complexities of grief. She provides trauma-informed care and psychoeducation, empowering clients to understand their emotions and build resilience. Alexis understands how overwhelming it can be for youth and families to cope with unexpected change, loss, or fear, and she is dedicated to guiding them with empathy and evidence-based support. Alexis works with diverse populations including youth in adoption or foster care, clients on the autism spectrum, and LGBTQ+ individuals. She tailors each treatment plan to the unique needs of her clients, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her collaborative approach helps young clients develop practical coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and a greater sense of self-confidence. Outside of her clinical work, Alexis enjoys reading a good book, spending sunny days at the beach, and exploring new restaurants. She brings the same curiosity and openness to her personal life that she offers to her clients in the therapeutic space.
