Martin Gonzales Lewerk is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2021. He has a BA HDFS from the University of Connecticut and an MSW from the University of Connecticut. Martin believes that therapy can be a stressful and anxiety filled prospect, and that’s why it’s important to him to create a non-judgmental, strengths-based environment no matter the clinical presentation. As a Massachusetts LCSW, Martin treats a variety of demographics with diverse experiences and presentations. It is important for Martin to pursue perspectives of social justice and equity in life and practice. Martin provides individual therapy utilizing strengths-based approaches, CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, motivational interviewing, and ACT. In his spare time, Martin enjoys video games, current events, cats, cooking, and leisurely walks. Education and Certifications: Martin is a Massachusetts Social Worker providing telehealth services through LifeStance’s Danvers location. Martin received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut with training in outpatient community health and college counseling. Prior to his Masters, Martin attained his BA in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Connecticut.
