Brandon Ugolini, Therapist
Brandon Ugolini, LPC, helps adults across Michigan build practical skills, emotional resilience, and renewed confidence when facing anxiety, depression, or life transitions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, he provides individual therapy for adults ages 18 through 64 who want structured, evidence-based mental health treatment in a supportive and collaborative setting. His work is grounded in helping clients feel understood while developing clear strategies for meaningful, lasting change.
Brandon specializes in treating anxiety, ADHD, and alcohol and drug use issues. He understands how persistent worry, difficulty focusing, or problematic substance use can disrupt careers, relationships, and daily functioning. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Therapy, he helps clients challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, reduce avoidance behaviors, and build healthier coping skills. He also supports individuals navigating grief, trauma, men’s issues, and midlife transitions, offering additional expertise in these areas.
Brandon has experience working with first responders, military veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, recognizing the unique stressors and cultural factors that influence mental health. His approach emphasizes accountability, psychological flexibility, and skill-building, while maintaining a respectful and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. Treatment is goal-oriented and tailored to each individual’s needs, whether addressing obsessive-compulsive symptoms, sleep concerns, or mood instability.
He earned his education from Central Michigan University and Wayne State University and has been practicing since 2013, serving communities throughout Michigan with high-quality outpatient mental health care.
Outside of the therapy room, Brandon enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and dog- hiking, fishing, gardening, and swimming at the beach. He also values cooking and baking with his two daughters and taking family trips to the zoo.
