My goal as a therapist is to offer a comfortable and safe environment to assist my client through struggles they may face. I strive to provide an empathetic, understanding, and nonjudgmental environment that fosters a positive therapeutic relationship. As each client is unique, my therapeutic style is integrated with a foundation in Cognitive Behaviors Therapy, in order to meet those needs.
I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and earned a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Oakland University. Credentialed as a National Certified Counselor and a past history as a teacher. I am passionate about providing clients with information that educates and provides information that empowers them. Helping others help themselves is my goal. I provide therapy to adolescents and adults suffering from Addictions, Anger Management, Anxiety, Couples/Marriage Counseling, Depression, Divorce, Eating Disorders, Employment Issues, Grief/Bereavement Issues, Mood Disorders, Trauma PTSD, Relationship Issues, Stress Management, Substance Abuse/Dependence. I additionally earned my CAADC: Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I also counsel clients on Probation and Parole for Substance Abuse. I am a provider for HPRP: Health Professional Recovery Program. I counsel Health Professionals in Recovery for Substance Abuse/Dependence.
