Heidi Albers, Therapist
Heidi Albers, LPCC, helps adults across Minnesota build clarity, stability, and resilience as they navigate life’s challenges. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual, couples, and family therapy for adults and seniors experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and alcohol or drug use issues. Heidi’s approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based care, creating a supportive space where clients can better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for meaningful, lasting change. Heidi integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients manage distress, regulate emotions, and improve daily functioning. She works with a range of individuals, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military and veteran populations, and those connected to adoption or foster care experiences. Her work also extends to relationship concerns and life transitions, and she offers additional therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. A central focus of Heidi’s work is supporting individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. She is passionate about helping clients break cycles of addiction, build healthier coping strategies, and restore a sense of balance and purpose. Through a compassionate and structured approach, she helps clients strengthen insight, accountability, and long-term recovery skills. Outside of her clinical work, Heidi enjoys traveling, fishing, gardening, cooking, working on home projects, and spending quality time with friends and family. She values connection and balance in her own life, which informs her grounded and empathetic presence in therapy.
