Rochelle Lynn Carrick, Therapist
Rochelle Lynn Carrick, LICSW, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors across Minnesota navigate life’s most complex emotional and behavioral challenges with clarity and confidence. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual and family therapy tailored to each stage of development. Whether a child is struggling with school avoidance, a teen is facing anxiety or identity concerns, or an adult is coping with depression or trauma, Rochelle offers thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care rooted in respect and collaboration.
Rochelle is particularly passionate about supporting foster care youth and children impacted by attachment disruptions, as well as those affected by runaway experiences and sexual exploitation. She understands the profound effects of early relational trauma and works to rebuild safety, trust, and emotional regulation through trauma-informed therapy. Her work with adoption and foster care populations is grounded in attachment-focused care that helps children and families strengthen connection, stability, and resilience.
Her clinical specialties include ADHD, PTSD/trauma, and anxiety. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Parent Child Interaction Therapy to address behavioral concerns, emotional dysregulation, and family conflict. Rochelle also has experience supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community and those with developmental disabilities. Additional areas of expertise are available to meet diverse mental health needs.
Rochelle’s approach blends structure with compassion, helping clients build coping skills, improve communication, and foster long-term emotional wellness. She believes healing occurs in the context of safe relationships and works closely with families to promote healthy attachment and practical parenting strategies.
Outside of her clinical work, Rochelle values community engagement and personal growth. She enjoys art, writing, meditation, yoga, outdoor activities, traveling, and cheering on her child at soccer games. Spirituality and family play central roles in her life and inform her grounded, values-based approach to care.
