Katy Osborne, Therapist
Katherine Osborne, LCMHC, helps adults and seniors across North Carolina find stability, clarity, and renewed confidence through individualized mental health care. She provides a grounded, supportive therapeutic space at LifeStance Health, guiding patients through challenges such as anxiety, gender identity–related concerns, and post-traumatic stress with evidence-based approaches tailored to real-world needs. Katherine is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, gender identity exploration, and trauma-related symptoms. She approaches this work with deep respect for each person’s lived experience, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and practical skills that foster lasting emotional well-being. Her clinical practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help patients build resilience and meaningful coping tools. She frequently works with LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and people with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and she welcomes the opportunity to provide care to diverse communities. While these areas reflect her primary focus, she also offers additional services to address a broad range of mental health conditions. Outside the therapy room, Katherine finds balance in the creative rhythm of pottery, ambitious Lego builds, and a lifelong love of music that began with years spent playing the viola in orchestra.
