Noel Davidson, Therapist

C. Noel Davidson treats patients starting at 10 years old. Noel graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in English from Gardner-Webb University and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She is both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Professional and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist through the state of North Carolina. Her previous counseling experiences include outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health counseling, Career and Personal Development counseling in a university setting, and working with evidence based children’s programs through Smart Start Services. Noel enjoys providing parent education and is passionate about serving children, adolescents and adults. Noel utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Gestalt Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques along with other evidence based practices to best serve each individual’s needs in treatment. Noel is very passionate about the helping profession and believes in a holistic approach that includes wellness in body, mind and spirit. Noel is also passionate about health and nutrition and will often incorporate this into sessions if a client so desires. She feels that she was created to walk alongside clients as they journey into the best versions of themselves. Noel is a huge animal lover and her menagerie includes 7 various animals at this time. She and her 13 year old daughter and 3 year old son love every type of animal from reptiles to their favorite type of dog… the French Bulldog. Noel has worked as a Veterinarian Technician and believes that animals are one of life’s greatest gifts. Noel also enjoys kayaking, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, working out, planning parties and events, vacation planning, fellowshipping with friends and spending quality time with her family and pets.
