Jerry Myers, Therapist
Jerry Myers, LCMHC, helps adults and seniors find steadiness, clarity, and practical tools to improve mental health and relationships. Serving patients across North Carolina through LifeStance Health, he provides evidence-based therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and life transitions. Jerry offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy, with care grounded in compassion, clinical skill, and respect for each person’s values and goals. He is especially passionate about helping patients stabilize symptoms, rebuild daily routines, and prevent relapse during this critical transition. Jerry collaborates with patients to create clear, achievable plans that strengthen coping skills, support medication adherence when applicable, and restore confidence after hospitalization—helping clients move forward safely and sustainably in their recovery. Jerry’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, and couples issues, and he also offers care for additional mental health concerns. He works with adults facing midlife and later-life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress related to health conditions. His approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples/Marital Counseling, and Christian Counseling when desired, tailoring treatment to each patient’s needs. Jerry also has experience working with select populations including First Responders, Military and Veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Outside of clinical work, Jerry enjoys traveling, reading, and spending meaningful time with family and friends
