Education BA from Rowan University & MSW from Rutgers University I have over 16 years of experience working as a licensed clinical therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My expertise is in treating Depression, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders, Women’s trauma, PTSD, Personality Disorders, Addictions, Anger Management, Adjustment Disorders, and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. I work with each client to develop the most appropriate and effective intervention/treatment plan. I utilize multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I find that both approaches are excellent in treating many psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, personality disorders, and many more. Most importantly, I find that both interventions allow for the clinician and client to work together and allows the client to be an active participant in their treatment. My guiding principles as a therapist include providing objective/supportive feedback; working with each client to ensure we develop the most effective individualized treatment plan; building trust and a healthy rapport; ensuring client confidentiality; maintaining open communication to promote a productive therapeutic environment; providing continuity of care including as needed communication with the client’s support system, as well as other pertinent treatment providers.
