Gurlynn Sing, Therapist

Hi there and welcome to my little corner on the internet! I’m Gurlynn, a Licensed Associate Counselor, and I’ve been in the field for 5+ years. After working as a patient advocate for a number of years, I wanted to further my understanding of guiding individuals through their struggles. I went to Argosy University and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Some of the areas I focus in include working with individuals through their cultural identity, relationship and work stressors, life transitions, self-worth, and developing communication, coping, and social skills. I believe in treating each client as an individual and meeting you where you are. I hope to provide a safe and open environment for you to process your everyday stressors in order for you to meet your goals. To meet your individual needs, I pull from a few therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivation Interviewing, and Mindfulness. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family!
