Carter Humphrey provides a relaxed and non-judgmental environment to help you gain insight in to your personal challenges and to find solutions that work for you. He believes in a collaborative approach to meet you where you are and to help you define your goals for therapy. Carter has experience working with a range of conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. He believes in individualized treatment and fosters an environment where you are free to explore yourself to the fullest. Carter is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY and also a CASAC-T. He has had experience working with clients throughout the levels of care including crisis stabilization, inpatient, intensive outpatient, as well as outpatient services. he believes in empowering others and supporting them through a strong therapeutic relationship. Carter believes that with an empathic, supportive approach to therapy, each individual can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and have a more positive relationship with themselves and others.
