Mary McKenzie-Nason (LPCC, M.ED), is a Professional Clinical Counselor who graduated with her Master’s Degree in Community Agency Counseling from Cleveland State University. Mary has been practicing since 2010 and has experience working with individuals, couples and families. She approaches therapy from a client centered perspective and believes patients have the most successful experience with therapy when they are able to have an authentic and trusting relationship with their therapist. Mary has completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and uses many of the evidence-based techniques from this treatment theory in her work with patients. She finds it valuable to assist patients in healing and strengthening their mind, body, and soul. She has experience in working with individuals to manage a variety of mental health struggles including ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, BiPolar Disorder and PTSD/Trauma. Additionally, Mary works with couples and families to develop relationships built on trust and validation of each other. When not at work, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, and dogs in the outdoors. She loves crafting, reading, and hiking.
