Amanda Stewart is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. She has a BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University, a Master’s of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. She has many years of experience working at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient therapy. She has worked with diverse populations of all ages and different challenges.

Amanda is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental and strives to provide a safe place for healing. She utilizes her positive psychology background to work collaboratively with clients to assist them in identifying and applying their strengths to accomplish goals that reflect their values and to develop a life of purpose and meaning. Amanda helps clients to recognize their own worth and know they matter and make a difference in the world. She conducts her therapy sessions using evidence-based treatments that fit the client’s needs including, but not limited to, CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, somatic therapies, and expressive art.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys swimming, going to the beach, golfing, other outdoor activities, watching sports, arts & crafts, playing with her two pugs and cat, and laughing everyday with her husband.
