Minta Lanning, Therapist

Minta Lanning, LICDC, LPC

Minta Lanning, LPC, LICDC, helps individuals build stability, resilience, and healthier coping skills through compassionate, structured therapy. Serving clients throughout Ohio, she provides individual therapy for adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors who are navigating emotional distress, behavioral challenges, and complex life transitions. Minta approaches care with a calm, supportive presence, helping clients feel understood while working toward meaningful, sustainable change.

A central focus of Minta’s work is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is deeply committed to helping clients navigate this vulnerable transition period by strengthening coping strategies, reinforcing safety planning, and supporting continuity of care. Minta works closely with clients to reduce the risk of rehospitalization while helping them regain confidence, structure, and a sense of control in their daily lives.

At LifeStance Health, Minta specializes in treating substance use and addiction-related concerns, trauma-related conditions, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. She also supports adolescents and teens experiencing childhood behavioral issues and emotional regulation difficulties. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, while offering additional therapeutic approaches as appropriate. Minta has experience working with military members and veterans and understands the unique stressors faced by this population.

Minta treats adolescents ages 11–14, teens ages 15–17, and adults across the lifespan, including older adults. She believes in meeting clients where they are and empowering them with practical tools that promote long-term emotional wellness and personal growth.

Outside of her clinical work, Minta enjoys gardening, finding it a grounding and restorative way to recharge.
