Elise Bailey is a Licensed Social Worker through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology with minors in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and History from The Ohio State University in Spring 2022. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University in Spring 2024.

Elise Bailey dedicates herself to guiding clients in pursuit of mental well-being with a focus on fostering collaboration and empowering individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals. She utilizes a person centered approach with emphasis on advocating for client autonomy and showing unconditional positive regard. Elise specializes in employing trauma-informed care techniques and therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). She is passionate about helping adults navigate obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, social and generalized anxiety disorders, perinatal/postpartum disorders (PMADS), trauma/PTSD, and ADHD. Elise first began providing individual therapy in 2023 during her internship experience at Lifestance Health; additionally, her time working as a mental health technician in an inpatient psychiatric unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital from 2021 to 2024 honed her clinical skills and gave her valuable experience working in the mental health field.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog, reading mystery novels, playing video games, and listening to podcasts.”
