I would like to take a moment to reflect on the exceptional relationship I have developed with my medical professionals at Lifestance, as well as with my previous organization. When Chester Crozier abruptly closed, my psychiatrist and therapist transitioned to Lifestance, which I had heard positive feedback about. In fact, my daughter and her ward are also patients there. Initially, I felt some apprehension, as I had been seeing my therapist and psychiatrist for over a decade. She had an in-depth understanding of my background, family and my colleagues, which allowed us to cover a lot of ground during our sessions—whether they were weekly or monthly, depending on my circumstances. Once my doctor joined Lifestance, I learned that protocol prevented her from providing both therapy and medication management. She recommended a couple of colleagues, and I chose her top recommendation, Amy Vicaro, as my new therapist. I am genuinely optimistic about this transition, as Amy shares a similar demeanor with my former psychiatrist, Mildred Fajardo. I believe this will create a beneficial balance for my therapeutic process. My daughter and her ward are also patients at Lifestance, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided. If you are fortunate enough to be accepted into the practice of either of these professionals, consider yourself lucky. Over the past decade, I have navigated significant highs and lows, and I attribute my current well-being to both my personal efforts and the invaluable support and guidance from Dr. Fajardo. If you are considering Lifestance, you have made an excellent choice.

The care of Dr Kim and Amy Vicaro is outstanding. Both go the distance! They are very compassionate and caring women. I feel like I have known them for years when in reality maybe 6 on n off months. I look forward to talking to both. They make me feel comfortable and easy going. I let it go and they listen. I have so much going on with my health and both are trying very hard to raise my spirits. So far so good.

Amy Vacarro keeps me leveled. I look forward to my sessions with her every two weeks to compare how I handled family situations with suggestions that she has given me. My sessions help living my life a lot easier, for sure. I’ve been in therapy my entire adult life and have had several therapist but she is, by far, one of the best.

I have only met with Amy two times but I feel she shows a lot of empathy towards me. Not that she has been through what I am going through but she makes me feel like she understands. I feel like I am not completely alone any more.
