Josh Czerepica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2020. Josh believes very strongly in the power of being truly heard and listened to. For this reason, he puts vigorous emphasis on fostering an authentic relationship and considers this to be the primary catalyst to healing in therapy. Josh takes a person-centered and strengths-based approach in helping people break negative cycles and create positive change in their lives. Derived from a strong background in CBT, he specializes in helping individuals bring awareness to their emotions, recognize triggers and unhealthy behaviors, communicate effectively and cope successfully in difficult situations. Outside of work, Josh is a mega Survivor and Big Brother nerd, he values friendly competition in board games and video games, enjoys hiking and spending time outside as much as possible, and is a Marvel and DC comic enthusiast.
