Ashlee Hoyt, Therapist
Ashlee Hoyt helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults build emotional skills, confidence, and healthier relationships as they work through life’s challenges. She provides individual and family therapy to clients across Rhode Island, creating a supportive, collaborative environment for those experiencing anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and difficulties at home or school. Ashlee is especially passionate about working with adolescents and teens who are struggling with school avoidance, behavioral concerns, and emotional regulation. She understands how academic stress, family dynamics, and developmental changes can intersect and lead to increased anxiety or withdrawal. Her work focuses on helping young clients feel understood while supporting families in building communication, consistency, and effective coping strategies that promote long-term stability and growth. In her clinical practice, Ashlee commonly treats anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD or trauma-related symptoms, while also supporting clients experiencing depression and grief. She works with children and adolescents ages 11–14, teens ages 15–17, and young adults navigating early adulthood. Ashlee has experience supporting select populations including LGBTQ+ individuals and military members and veterans, and she offers additional areas of support based on each client’s needs. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, and practical parenting skills to help clients make meaningful, sustainable progress. Ashlee practices at LifeStance Health and brings a warm, thoughtful, and developmentally informed approach to therapy. She values collaboration with both clients and families to ensure care feels personalized, empowering, and goal-oriented. Outside of her work, Ashlee enjoys spending time outdoors at the beach, hiking, and gardening. She has developed a passion for line dancing, loves exploring new places, and values time with her cats, friends, and family, all of which help her stay balanced and energized. Ashlee Hoyt provides mental health therapy services throughout Rhode Island for children, adolescents, teens, and young adults seeking support for anxiety, trauma, school-related challenges, and family concerns.
