Lauren Acquino, Therapist

Lauren W. Acquino is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2019. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at School of Visual Arts then later in life moved to Florida to gain a Masters in Social Work at University of Central Florida. Everyone needs someone to talk to. Sometimes it needs to be with someone who is solely invested in just you. Whether it is to process some situational depression, address substance use struggles, or to explore deep, complex trauma. As your therapist, Lauren hopes that she can help you through this journey and explore a deeper understanding to who you are and why you may feel, the way you feel. Lauren is a believer in a strength-based and person-centered approach. This way if you are ready to do a deep dive, or have a banter session, you can work together to make sure you feel seen and heard. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys visiting friends and family in New York and Vermont. She also enjoys playing and spending time with her two dogs and escaping with a good book.
