Kendra Miller, Therapist
Kendra MS Miller, LISW-CP, offers a compassionate and clinically sound approach to mental health care for individuals and couples in South Carolina. She specializes in anxiety, ADHD, stress management, self-esteem, trauma, and life coaching. Practicing from a Christian, trauma-informed perspective, Kendra recognizes the symptoms of trauma and helps clients understand how these manifest in their lives. Her goal is to empower individuals by helping them identify, own, and address their feelings while developing coping skills to replace negative thoughts and feelings. Kendra is particularly passionate about supporting college athletes, addressing parenting issues, and working with blended families. As a member of the Alliance of Social Workers In Sports, Kendra understands the unique pressures and challenges faced by college athletes, offering tailored support to help them navigate both academic and athletic demands. Her expertise in parenting issues helps families build stronger connections, while her work with blended families focuses on fostering harmony and understanding among all family members. In her practice at LifeStance Health, Kendra utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. She is dedicated to helping clients through their journey to achieve emotional wellness and personal peace through empathy, empowerment, self-discovery, and accountability. As a Star Behavioral Health Provider, Kendra also provides specialized services to military-connected clients, recognizing the unique experiences of military-connected families, including military culture, deployment cycle stressors and their impact. Kendra offers individual, couples, and group therapy, ensuring comprehensive support for her clients. Additionally, her therapeutic interventions include Christian Counseling and Couples/Marital Counseling, tailored to meet the specific needs of her clients. Outside of her professional life, Kendra enjoys cross-stitching, jigsaw puzzles, vacationing, and spending time with her family.
