Karli Kilby, Therapist
Karli Kilby, LPC, helps individuals build practical skills to manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and feel more confident in their daily lives. She provides individual therapy to teens and adults across South Carolina, offering a supportive, structured space where clients can better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while working toward meaningful change. Karli is especially experienced in treating anxiety, childhood behavior issues, and women’s concerns, with a focus on self-compassion and stress management. She works with teens, adults, and seniors, including those navigating school avoidance, midlife transitions, or academic challenges. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she helps clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with healthier, more effective coping strategies. Karli also has experience supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, women, and those connected to adoption or foster care, and offers additional areas of support tailored to each client’s needs. Her approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based care. Karli creates a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make progress at their own pace. She believes therapy should be both practical and compassionate, equipping clients with tools they can use in real-life situations. Outside of her clinical work, Karli enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and being outdoors—especially hiking, camping, and swimming.
