Maricela Galindo, Therapist

Maricela Galindo is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2009. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Minor in Psychology from University of Texas. Maricela offers a safe, empathetic, genuine, nonjudgmental environment and encourages her clients to take an active role in therapy. She also appreciates honest feedback from clients on how they feel they are progressing. Maricela uses different theories and techniques during therapy since everyone has unique experiences and personalities; however, she strongly believes that the relationship between the therapist and client is one of the most important predictors of success in therapy. She tends to favor Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and SandTray therapy. Maricela is very passionate about helping people and looks forward to meeting new people in all stages of life to help them reach their goals.
