Alison Pugh, Therapist
Alison Pugh, LCSW, helps adults and seniors across Texas navigate life’s challenges with compassion and expertise. She provides a supportive space where clients can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, or major life transitions while building healthier coping strategies to move forward with confidence and strength. At LifeStance Health, Alison works with individuals who may be struggling with the emotional weight of caregiving responsibilities, adjusting to retirement, or facing the complexities of aging, offering them a place to feel heard and supported. Alison is especially passionate about supporting clients through later life struggles, including the aging process, post-retirement depression, isolation, and cognitive concerns. She also works closely with military veterans, recognizing the unique challenges they face during and after service. Her work is guided by a deep commitment to helping individuals manage these complex transitions and fostering resilience during times of change. Her therapeutic approach blends evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. Alison frequently works with first responders, individuals recovering from head injuries, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, tailoring each session to the needs of the client. In addition to individual therapy, she provides group therapy and case management, ensuring a holistic model of care for those navigating difficult circumstances. Outside of her practice, Alison enjoys spending time with her family, staying active at the gym, and traveling. She values balance and connection, qualities she brings into her clinical work. Alison is proud to serve individuals throughout Texas with compassion, clinical skill, and dedication.
